Coming up on Muslim Made in July
Interviews with The Muslim Ticket, Deed Ring, My Muslim Mentor, and Sister Station Podcast
Salaam, chief curator Yasmin here, dropping in to let you know what’s coming up on Muslim Made in July 🗓
First of all I want to say that I’m so grateful for the support I’ve received and connections I’ve made because of this project. I thought I had clarity when I first launched Muslim Made, however, through the many discussions I’ve had with such amazing people and whilst writing the upcoming newsletters, I’ve gained even more clarity for my purpose and mission with Muslim Made moving forwards.
I’ll get into more about what that purpose and mission is at the end of the month, InShaAllah.
Today’s post is to let you know July’s schedule. I thought it’d be a great idea to let you know what to expect from the month ahead, so you know exactly what to look forward to.
This month’s theme is Start With Bismillah—a theme focussed on highlighting creators and entrepreneurs who have been around for less than 12 months. As a newbie on the scene myself, I wanted to put the spotlight on other newbies to give them that extra push, and get their businesses in front of more people 👀
Here’s what’s coming up in July on Muslim Made
🎟 2nd July: An interview with Subina, founder of The Muslim Ticket, a Muslim events and ticketing platform that’ll make organising and discovering Muslim events easier than ever.
💍 9th July: We’ll get to know Arjuan, founder of Deed Ring, the dhikr ring that’s changing lives one tap at a time.
🧕🏼👨🏽💼 16th July: We’ll learn more about Fariya and the team of My Muslim Mentor, a platform connecting students with professional mentors at a stage in their career where the right insight and guidance can make all the difference.
🎙 23rd July: An interview with Muminah, a multi-passionate journalist, writer, poet, and content creator, who’s now making the move into podcasting where she’ll amplify the voices of Muslim women and women of colour.
✍🏼 30th July: A letter from myself, sharing my future plans for Muslim Made, my vision, and what you can expect moving forwards.
In’Sha’Allah you’ll enjoy learning about the unique ways each person is serving the ummah through their business.
If you know someone who’d enjoy reading the upcoming interviews, please share this post with them.
See you in the first interview! 👋🏼
