Meet Arjuan, founder of the Deed Ring, your daily zikr companion
Build a daily zikr habit and improve mental health with this tasbih ring
Meet Arjuan, founder of Deed Ring
Today’s interview is with sister Arjuan, founder of the Deed Ring—a tasbih ring that’s bringing Muslims closer to Allah and changing lives in the process. Unlike most others on the market, the Deed Ring is the sleekest dhikr ring I’ve come across yet, making it perfect for everyday wear without needing to be removed.
I’ve been wearing mine daily, building my dhikr habit instantly. Each tap is followed by a vibration, helping me feel grounded and present throughout the day.
My main goal with Muslim Made is to showcase Muslimpreneurs who are benefitting the Ummah. Having watched reviews, the impact of Arjuan’s business became clear. Not only is the Deed Ring strengthening people’s connection with Allah, users are also reporting improvements in mental health. SubhanAllah.
Let’s get into Arjuan’s inspiring interview ✨
Tell us a little more about you – what’s your name, where are you from and what’s your background?
My name is Arjuan Sharif. I’m from Yemen and grew up in the Northern Virginia area. I majored in health Administration and then completed my master’s degree in health executive management. During and after college, I worked in healthcare administration with a focus on patient experience and later transitioned into human resources.
What inspired you to start Deed Ring? Was there a moment or experience that sparked the idea?
The inspiration for Deed Ring came during a walk in nature which was one of my favorite escapes during a very difficult time in my life. I was praying regularly, and I kept receiving divine inspiration to deepen my practice of Dhikr. It wasn’t until I began doing Dhikr consistently that I felt a way out of my internal and external hardships.
I had been using button-style tasbih clickers, but on one walk, I thought, “It would be so cool to have a ring I could wear all day that vibrates, looks discreet, and still feels cute.” That moment planted the seed. I began my search in 2022, and by the grace of Allah, the path to starting my business opened up.
The design is very sleek compared to other dhikr rings on the market—what inspired the design? What features set it apart from similar products?
The sleek design was inspired by my busy lifestyle and love for fashion. I kept losing the button tasbih clickers because I had to constantly take them off, especially around my kids. I wanted something wearable all day, every day. I love dressing up, and the usual clickers didn’t match that aesthetic.
I also wanted something functional and the vibration feature is a major differentiator. It makes it easy to do Dhikr in those in-between moments and helps keep you consistent. Many users have shared that it also helps reduce their anxiety.

Are there any updates or features you’re planning to add in the future?
Yes! We plan to introduce more colorways and our own branded app with exciting features to keep people connected and motivated. We’re also exploring ways to incorporate additional health features inshallah.
Has the ring made a real impact in people’s lives? What kind of feedback or stories have you received so far?
Absolutely. It’s been so uplifting to hear people’s stories. I’ve received many messages from users saying the Deed Ring has helped them increase their Dhikr and reduce anxiety. That was my ultimate goal so these messages mean everything to me.
Do you envision expanding into other kinds of products that support Muslim spirituality?
Yes inshallah! I have a few ideas in mind for products that make it easier to incorporate spirituality into our everyday busy lives.

What challenges have you overcome during your journey of starting a faith-aligned business?
Starting a business requires a lot of mental resilience and planning. One of the biggest challenges has been tuning out external noise and staying focused on my vision. It’s also been a journey of self-work. Building something faith-based means constantly checking your intention and staying grounded.
How do you create the right balance between Deen and Dunya as a business owner?
I view my business as a means of practicing my faith and helping others on their journey to get closer to their Creator. I believe we all have unique gifts meant to serve the world and we should use them intentionally. Also no matter how busy life gets, I try to never miss my prayers. True success comes from that foundation.
Finally, what’s one piece of advice you’d give to a fellow Muslim thinking of starting their own faith-based business?
Follow what your heart is calling you to do and what brings you the most joy. Deep down we usually know what that is, but it takes prayer and quiet reflection to gain clarity.
And most importantly: don’t doubt yourself. Not everyone will understand or agree with your vision but persevere. The right people will find you.
